Overjet vs. Overbite - Which one do you have?

As everyone knows, not all teeth grow equally. Sometimes, due to a disease or genetics, the teeth may grow imperfectly. It not only slightly diminishes your overall look but can also cause problems in day-to-day functions, like eating, chewing, etc. People are generally confused between types of misalignment of upper teeth - overjet and overbite. Overbite vs. Overjet Overbite is a type of misalignment of the teeth. In this, the upper teeth completely cover the lower teeth by protruding beyond them. Overjet is essentially similar to it but with a single different characteristic. In an overbite, the teeth are usually straight and cover the lower teeth, while in an overjet condition, the upper teeth are at an angle with the lower.
